We place across Machavaram and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a medium bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the African Grey Parrot arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new African Grey Parrot.

Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year

warm and humid, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a African Grey Parrot names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.

Feeding a medium bird without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Is a African Grey Parrot a sensible choice for you in Machavaram?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more African Grey Parrot placements in Machavaram than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

What you will pay

Expect ₹67,146 upward, to around ₹67,146. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
