Buy Blue & Gold Macaw in Kota, Andhra Pradesh
What is listed for Kota is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Blue & Gold Macaw you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Feeding a large bird without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
coastal tropical, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Blue & Gold Macaw arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Blue & Gold Macaw that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.
What a Blue & Gold Macaw costs in Kota
Expect ₹130,187 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Kota?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Blue & Gold Macaw will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kota without much drama.
Blue & Gold Macaw price, and the cost after it
₹130,187 to ₹130,187 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Blue & Gold Macaw without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Blue & Gold Macaw is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Blue & Gold Macaw in Kota: local climate
Summer here peaks in May at about 37°C. That is manageable for a Blue & Gold Macaw: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 21°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from October to November, and November is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Blue & Gold Macaw bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, March, June, July, August and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 28 | 30 | 34 | 36 | 37 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 28 | 27 |
| Low °C | 21 | 21 | 23 | 26 | 28 | 27 | 26 | 26 | 26 | 25 | 24 | 22 |
| Rain mm | 13 | 4 | 10 | 18 | 43 | 59 | 97 | 117 | 121 | 253 | 257 | 93 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
