Buy Chattering Lorikeet in Khajipeta, Andhra Pradesh
What is listed for Khajipeta is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different bird that fits your schedule than sell you the Chattering Lorikeet you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Chattering Lorikeet arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
warm and humid, and the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Chattering Lorikeet.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Chattering Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Chattering Lorikeet that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Is a Chattering Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Khajipeta?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Chattering Lorikeet will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Khajipeta without much drama.
Chattering Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹60,337 to ₹60,337 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Chattering Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Chattering Lorikeet in Khajipeta: local climate
Khajipeta is hottest in April, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Chattering Lorikeet needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in October.
For a new Chattering Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, July, August, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 39 | 41 | 40 | 35 | 34 | 34 | 32 | 32 | 30 | 29 |
| Low °C | 17 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 28 | 25 | 24 | 24 | 24 | 22 | 20 | 17 |
| Rain mm | 6 | 3 | 11 | 21 | 55 | 67 | 86 | 95 | 130 | 142 | 103 | 29 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
