Buy Chattering Lorikeet in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Guntur and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Chattering Lorikeet that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
warm and humid, and the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Chattering Lorikeet is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Chattering Lorikeet names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.
Is a Chattering Lorikeet a sensible choice for you in Guntur?
You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Guntur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
What a Chattering Lorikeet costs in Guntur
Expect ₹60,337 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Chattering Lorikeet price, and the cost after it
₹60,337 to ₹60,337 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Chattering Lorikeet without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Chattering Lorikeet in Guntur: local climate
Guntur is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Chattering Lorikeet needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to October, and October is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Chattering Lorikeet bird, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 35 | 33 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 17 | 19 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 27 | 25 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 20 | 17 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 11 | 9 | 20 | 47 | 126 | 178 | 178 | 171 | 183 | 71 | 21 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
