Buy African Grey Parrot in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Guntur and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a medium bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Feeding a medium bird without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A African Grey Parrot that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly African Grey Parrot that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.
Is a African Grey Parrot a sensible choice for you in Guntur?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly African Grey Parrot will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Guntur without much drama.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium bird notices both. the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the African Grey Parrot will barely register the change.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A African Grey Parrot reads consistency as safety, and a settled bird learns faster.
What a African Grey Parrot costs in Guntur
The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a African Grey Parrot without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
African Grey Parrot price, and the cost after it
₹67,146 to ₹67,146 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a African Grey Parrot without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a African Grey Parrot in Guntur: local climate
Guntur is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A African Grey Parrot needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to October, and October is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new African Grey Parrot bird, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 35 | 33 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 17 | 19 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 27 | 25 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 20 | 17 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 11 | 9 | 20 | 47 | 126 | 178 | 178 | 171 | 183 | 71 | 21 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
