Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a medium African Grey Parrot to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly African Grey Parrot that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.

Is a African Grey Parrot a sensible choice for you in Doravarisatram?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium bird in a Doravarisatram apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium bird notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the African Grey Parrot will barely register the change.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every African Grey Parrot; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
