We place across Bukkapatnam and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a large bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
What a Blue & Gold Macaw costs in Bukkapatnam
The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Blue & Gold Macaw without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new large bird entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Is a Blue & Gold Macaw a sensible choice for you in Bukkapatnam?
You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large bird in a Bukkapatnam apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a large bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large bird notices both. the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Blue & Gold Macaw will barely register the change.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Blue & Gold Macaw comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Bukkapatnam flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Blue & Gold Macaw price, and the cost after it
₹130,187 to ₹130,187 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Blue & Gold Macaw without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Blue & Gold Macaw in Bukkapatnam: local climate
Bukkapatnam is hottest in April, averaging 39°C in the afternoon. A Blue & Gold Macaw needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Blue & Gold Macaw bird, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, July, August, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 38 | 39 | 36 | 32 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 24 | 22 | 22 | 22 | 21 | 20 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 3 | 4 | 14 | 37 | 81 | 72 | 85 | 92 | 140 | 120 | 53 | 11 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
