We place across Bellamkonda and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Rosella Bird names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented bird from an undocumented one.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Rosella Bird is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 5-15 Years.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Rosella Bird that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Is a Rosella Bird a sensible choice for you in Bellamkonda?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Rosella Bird will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Bellamkonda without much drama.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
humid coastal, and the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the bird dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the bird to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Rosella Bird.
Rosella Bird price, and the cost after it
₹34,935 to ₹34,935 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Rosella Bird without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Rosella Bird is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Rosella Bird in Bellamkonda: local climate
Bellamkonda is hottest in May, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Rosella Bird needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from August to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Rosella Bird bird, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 41 | 35 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 17 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 26 | 25 | 24 | 24 | 22 | 19 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 8 | 11 | 19 | 41 | 105 | 148 | 161 | 151 | 145 | 54 | 15 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Rosella Bird
Your week with a Rosella Bird, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the bird properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Rosella Bird comes home.
