Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Blue Monk comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Avanigadda flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Feeding a small bird without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the bird lobbies. A Blue Monk that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 5-15 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small bird moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Blue Monk to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the bird already has one place it considers its own.

Is a Blue Monk a sensible choice for you in Avanigadda?

You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Avanigadda apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

What a Blue Monk costs in Avanigadda

The purchase is the small number. Over 5-15 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Blue Monk without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

What you will pay

Expect ₹26,131 upward, to around ₹26,131. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 5-15 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
