Buy Blue Sided in Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Araku Valley and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small bird does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Feeding a small bird without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Blue Sided will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Blue Sided that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 5-15 Years is easier.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Blue Sided; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Is a Blue Sided a sensible choice for you in Araku Valley?
You are choosing a 5-15 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small bird in a Araku Valley apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
What a Blue Sided costs in Araku Valley
Between ₹7,062 and ₹7,062 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the bird is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Blue Sided costs more up front and less in the first months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Blue Sided arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a bird that seeks them out.
Blue Sided price, and the cost after it
₹7,062 to ₹7,062 for the bird. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Blue Sided without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Blue Sided in Araku Valley: local climate
The city sits at about 921 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.
Summer here peaks in April at about 35°C. That is manageable for a Blue Sided: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 10°C. A light sweater helps a small Blue Sided on the coldest nights.
The rainy season runs from June to October, and August is usually the wettest month. Keep the cage out of damp corners and change the paper daily.
For a new Blue Sided bird, the easiest months to arrive are February, March, May and November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 24 | 28 | 33 | 35 | 35 | 29 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 24 | 23 | 22 |
| Low °C | 10 | 13 | 17 | 20 | 22 | 21 | 20 | 20 | 19 | 17 | 13 | 10 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 13 | 17 | 41 | 72 | 195 | 271 | 278 | 257 | 185 | 57 | 16 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
