What is listed for Thimmapur LMD is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Boxer Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a large dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Boxer Puppy are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Boxer Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Boxer Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.
Is a Boxer Puppy a sensible choice for you in Thimmapur LMD?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Boxer Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Thimmapur LMD without much drama.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Boxer Puppy will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
What a Boxer Puppy costs in Thimmapur LMD
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Boxer Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
What you will pay
Expect ₹26,995 upward, to around ₹26,995. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Health and handover
Every Boxer Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Boxer in Thimmapur LMD: local climate
Thimmapur LMD is hottest in May, averaging 43°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Boxer needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 42 | 43 | 36 | 32 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 29 |
| Low °C | 15 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 29 | 26 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 20 | 17 | 14 |
| Rain mm | 10 | 7 | 18 | 17 | 22 | 131 | 229 | 235 | 159 | 77 | 12 | 3 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
