What is listed for Tandur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Rottweiler Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a large Rottweiler Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Rottweiler Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Is a Rottweiler Puppy a sensible choice for you in Tandur?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large dog in a Tandur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
What a Rottweiler Puppy costs in Tandur
Expect ₹27,992 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Rottweiler Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Tandur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
What you will pay
Expect ₹27,992 upward, to around ₹27,992. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Rottweiler in Tandur: local climate
Tandur is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Rottweiler needs real protection from that because a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and September is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Rottweiler puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 34 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 15 | 18 | 21 | 25 | 27 | 24 | 22 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 4 | 18 | 27 | 39 | 106 | 150 | 163 | 164 | 81 | 14 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Rottweiler Puppy
Your week with a Rottweiler Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Rottweiler Puppy comes home.
