Buy Boxer Puppy in Tandur, Telangana
We place across Tandur and the wider Telangana region. If a large dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Boxer Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a large Boxer Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Is a Boxer Puppy a sensible choice for you in Tandur?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Boxer Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Tandur without much drama.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Boxer Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
What a Boxer Puppy costs in Tandur
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Boxer Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Boxer Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
What you will pay
Expect ₹26,995 upward, to around ₹26,995. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Boxer in Tandur: local climate
Tandur is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Boxer needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and September is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 34 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 15 | 18 | 21 | 25 | 27 | 24 | 22 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 4 | 18 | 27 | 39 | 106 | 150 | 163 | 164 | 81 | 14 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Boxer Puppy
A practical checklist for a large dog in a Tandur flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
