We place across Kothaguda and the wider Telangana region. If a large dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Is a Boxer Puppy a sensible choice for you in Kothaguda?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large dog in a Kothaguda apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Boxer Puppy will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
What a Boxer Puppy costs in Kothaguda
Between ₹26,995 and ₹26,995 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Boxer Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Boxer Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Boxer Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Boxer Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
What you will pay
Expect ₹26,995 upward, to around ₹26,995. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Health and handover
Every Boxer Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Boxer in Kothaguda: local climate
Kothaguda is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Boxer needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 13°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 29 | 33 | 37 | 39 | 40 | 33 | 30 | 29 | 28 | 28 | 28 | 28 |
| Low °C | 14 | 17 | 20 | 24 | 26 | 23 | 22 | 21 | 21 | 19 | 15 | 13 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 5 | 20 | 26 | 30 | 110 | 168 | 184 | 160 | 84 | 13 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Boxer Puppy
Your week with a Boxer Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Boxer Puppy comes home.
