Buy Shih Tzu in Kosgi, Telangana
We place across Kosgi and the wider Telangana region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a Shih Tzu that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What a Shih Tzu costs in Kosgi
Between ₹24,271 and ₹24,271 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Shih Tzu costs more up front and less in the first months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Kosgi?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Shih Tzu placements in Kosgi than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Shih Tzu price, and the cost after it
₹24,271 to ₹24,271 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Shih Tzu without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Shih Tzu in Kosgi: local climate
Kosgi is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Shih Tzu needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and its double coat holds heat close to the body: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and September is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Shih Tzu puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 37 | 39 | 40 | 33 | 31 | 30 | 29 | 29 | 29 | 30 |
| Low °C | 15 | 17 | 21 | 25 | 26 | 23 | 22 | 21 | 21 | 19 | 16 | 14 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 4 | 18 | 27 | 39 | 106 | 150 | 163 | 164 | 81 | 14 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Shih Tzu | Tri Color Puppy
Your week with a Shih Tzu, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Shih Tzu comes home.
