We place across Kamareddy and the wider Telangana region. If a giant dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Is a Saint Bernard Puppy a sensible choice for you in Kamareddy?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A giant dog in a Kamareddy apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Saint Bernard Puppy.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Saint Bernard Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
What a Saint Bernard Puppy costs in Kamareddy
Between ₹39,369 and ₹39,369 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Saint Bernard Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Feeding a giant dog without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Saint Bernard Puppy will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Saint Bernard Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Saint Bernard Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹39,369 to ₹39,369 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Saint Bernard Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Saint Bernard in Kamareddy: local climate
Kamareddy is hottest in May, averaging 42°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Saint Bernard needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body and a giant body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections; dry inside the ears after baths and rain, since droopy ears trap moisture.
For a new Saint Bernard puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 34 | 38 | 40 | 42 | 35 | 31 | 29 | 29 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 14 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 28 | 25 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 16 | 14 |
| Rain mm | 8 | 7 | 19 | 19 | 22 | 124 | 203 | 209 | 154 | 71 | 11 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Saint Bernard Puppy
Your week with a Saint Bernard Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Saint Bernard Puppy comes home.
