What a Shih Tzu costs in Ghattu

Expect ₹24,271 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Shih Tzu comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Ghattu flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Feeding a small dog without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Shih Tzu that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-16 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Shih Tzu to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.

Weather, coat and the Telangana year

mild tropical plateau, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Ghattu?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Shih Tzu placements in Ghattu than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

What you will pay

Expect ₹24,271 upward, to around ₹24,271. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Health and handover

Every Shih Tzu is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
