We place across Bhongir and the wider Telangana region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
What a Dachshund Puppy costs in Bhongir
Between ₹15,221 and ₹15,221 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Dachshund Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Dachshund Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Dachshund Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Dachshund Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Is a Dachshund Puppy a sensible choice for you in Bhongir?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small dog in a Bhongir apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
What you will pay
Expect ₹15,221 upward, to around ₹15,221. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Dachshund in Bhongir: local climate
Bhongir is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Dachshund needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry inside the ears after baths and rain, since droopy ears trap moisture.
For a new Dachshund puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 29 | 33 | 37 | 40 | 40 | 34 | 31 | 30 | 29 | 29 | 28 | 28 |
| Low °C | 14 | 17 | 21 | 24 | 27 | 24 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 16 | 14 |
| Rain mm | 7 | 6 | 19 | 24 | 29 | 109 | 165 | 187 | 153 | 85 | 14 | 3 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Dachshund Puppy
Your week with a Dachshund Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Dachshund Puppy comes home.
