Buy Border Collie Puppy in Atmakur (M), Telangana
What is listed for Atmakur (M) is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Border Collie Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Weather, coat and the Telangana year
pleasant semi-tropical, and the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a medium Border Collie Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Is a Border Collie Puppy a sensible choice for you in Atmakur (M)?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium dog in a Atmakur (M) apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Border Collie Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Border Collie Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Feeding a medium dog without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
What you will pay
Expect ₹200,267 upward, to around ₹200,267. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Border Collie in Atmakur (M): local climate
Atmakur (M) is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Border Collie needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
Most of the year's rain falls in September. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Border Collie puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 40 | 34 | 32 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 31 | 31 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 27 | 24 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 3 | 17 | 25 | 46 | 97 | 129 | 137 | 157 | 82 | 15 | 2 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
