Buy Shih Tzu in Mettur, Tamil Nadu

We place across Mettur and the wider Tamil Nadu region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Shih Tzu to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Mettur?

You are choosing a 10-16 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small dog in a Mettur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Shih Tzu; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A playful Shih Tzu is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-16 Years.

Feeding a small dog without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Shih Tzu that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-16 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Weather, coat and the Tamil Nadu year

the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Shih Tzu that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

What you will pay

Expect ₹23,725 upward, to around ₹23,725. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Health and handover

Every Shih Tzu is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
