Buy Pug Puppy in Vellarikkundu, Kerala
What is listed for Vellarikkundu is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Pug Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Weather, coat and the Kerala year
the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Pug Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What a Pug Puppy costs in Vellarikkundu
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Pug Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Is a Pug Puppy a sensible choice for you in Vellarikkundu?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Pug Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Vellarikkundu without much drama.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Pug Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Pug Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Pug Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Vellarikkundu flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Pug Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹18,715 to ₹18,715 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Pug Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Pug in Vellarikkundu: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 32°C. That is manageable for a Pug, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 23°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from May to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Pug puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, April, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 32 | 32 | 32 | 30 | 28 | 27 | 27 | 27 | 28 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 23 | 24 | 25 | 26 | 27 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 24 | 23 |
| Rain mm | 3 | 5 | 22 | 67 | 222 | 851 | 884 | 669 | 380 | 269 | 106 | 20 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
