We place across Thalassery and the wider Kerala region. If a tiny dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

coastal tropical, and the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What a Maltese Puppy costs in Thalassery

The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Maltese Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Maltese Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.

Is a Maltese Puppy a sensible choice for you in Thalassery?

You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A tiny dog in a Thalassery apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Maltese Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Maltese Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.

What you will pay

Expect ₹32,397 upward, to around ₹32,397. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.

Health and handover

Every Maltese Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a tiny dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
