Buy Pug Puppy in Kunnathur, Kerala
What is listed for Kunnathur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Pug Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A family friendly Pug Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-12 Years is easier.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Pug Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Pug Puppy will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a small Pug Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Pug Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Weather, coat and the Kerala year
moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips For a Pug Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What you will pay
Expect ₹18,715 upward, to around ₹18,715. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Health and handover
Every Pug Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Pug in Kunnathur: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 34°C. That is manageable for a Pug, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 20°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from May to November, and October is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Pug puppy, the easiest months to arrive are December to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 33 | 34 | 32 | 30 | 28 | 27 | 27 | 27 | 28 | 28 | 28 |
| Low °C | 20 | 21 | 23 | 24 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 23 | 23 | 22 | 20 |
| Rain mm | 15 | 27 | 59 | 132 | 228 | 306 | 239 | 206 | 236 | 320 | 221 | 54 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
