Buy Shih Tzu in Ernad, Kerala

We place across Ernad and the wider Kerala region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Weather, coat and the Kerala year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small dog notices both. the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Shih Tzu will barely register the change.

What a Shih Tzu costs in Ernad

Expect ₹24,271 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Ernad?

You are choosing a 10-16 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small dog in a Ernad apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A playful Shih Tzu that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-16 Years is easier.
