We place across Vimanapura and the wider Karnataka region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Shih Tzu names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Shih Tzu are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

What a Shih Tzu costs in Vimanapura

Expect ₹24,271 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward For a Shih Tzu that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Vimanapura?

You are choosing a 10-16 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small dog in a Vimanapura apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

What you will pay

Expect ₹24,271 upward, to around ₹24,271. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
