Buy Shih Tzu in Tikota, Karnataka

We place across Tikota and the wider Karnataka region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Shih Tzu reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Shih Tzu names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A bold Shih Tzu is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-16 Years.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Tikota?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a bold Shih Tzu will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Tikota without much drama.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Shih Tzu are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

moderate Deccan, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

What you will pay

Expect ₹24,055 upward, to around ₹24,055. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Health and handover

Every Shih Tzu is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
