Buy Shih Tzu in Thippasandra, Karnataka

We place across Thippasandra and the wider Karnataka region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A bold Shih Tzu that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-16 Years is easier.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Thippasandra?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a bold Shih Tzu will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Thippasandra without much drama.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds For a Shih Tzu that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Shih Tzu arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Shih Tzu.

What you will pay

Expect ₹24,055 upward, to around ₹24,055. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
