Buy Rottweiler Puppy in Sirsi, Karnataka
What is listed for Sirsi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Rottweiler Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Rottweiler Puppy.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Rottweiler Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Rottweiler Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Weather, coat and the Karnataka year
the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership For a Rottweiler Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Rottweiler Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Rottweiler Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Sirsi flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
What you will pay
Expect ₹27,992 upward, to around ₹27,992. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Rottweiler in Sirsi: local climate
Summer here peaks in April at about 35°C. That is manageable for a Rottweiler, but watch it closely because a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from June to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Rottweiler puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, March, May, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 29 | 32 | 35 | 35 | 32 | 27 | 26 | 26 | 26 | 27 | 27 | 27 |
| Low °C | 14 | 16 | 19 | 21 | 22 | 21 | 21 | 20 | 20 | 19 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 1 | 2 | 13 | 30 | 92 | 429 | 476 | 390 | 245 | 152 | 40 | 4 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Rottweiler Puppy
Your week with a Rottweiler Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Rottweiler Puppy comes home.
