What is listed for Nargund is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Rottweiler Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Rottweiler Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Rottweiler Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.
Weather, coat and the Karnataka year
The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large dog notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Rottweiler Puppy will barely register the change.
What a Rottweiler Puppy costs in Nargund
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Rottweiler Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Rottweiler Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Nargund flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Rottweiler Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Rottweiler Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹27,992 to ₹27,992 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Rottweiler Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Rottweiler in Nargund: local climate
Nargund is hottest in April, averaging 38°C in the afternoon. A Rottweiler needs real protection from that because a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Rottweiler puppy, the easiest months to arrive are June to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 37 | 38 | 36 | 30 | 29 | 29 | 29 | 29 | 29 | 30 |
| Low °C | 15 | 17 | 20 | 23 | 23 | 22 | 21 | 20 | 20 | 19 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 1 | 2 | 15 | 36 | 64 | 95 | 112 | 113 | 119 | 86 | 29 | 4 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Rottweiler Puppy
Your week with a Rottweiler Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Rottweiler Puppy comes home.
