Is a Dalmatian Puppy a sensible choice for you in Mysuru?

You are choosing a 11-13 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large dog in a Mysuru apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Dalmatian Puppy.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A energetic Dalmatian Puppy that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 11-13 Years is easier.

Feeding a large dog without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A large breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

What you will pay

Expect ₹26,900 upward, to around ₹26,900. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 11-13 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
