We place across Laggere and the wider Karnataka region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small dog notices both. the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Pug Puppy will barely register the change.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Pug Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Pug Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Laggere flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Is a Pug Puppy a sensible choice for you in Laggere?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Pug Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Laggere without much drama.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Pug Puppy.
