What is listed for Kurugodu is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Chihuahua Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Chihuahua Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kurugodu flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
What a Chihuahua Puppy costs in Kurugodu
Expect ₹27,994 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Weather, coat and the Karnataka year
the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership For a Chihuahua Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Chihuahua Puppy.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Chihuahua Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Chihuahua Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
What you will pay
Expect ₹27,994 upward, to around ₹27,994. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Chihuahua in Kurugodu: local climate
Kurugodu is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Chihuahua needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Chihuahua puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, June, July, August, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 35 | 38 | 40 | 38 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 25 | 25 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 21 | 20 | 18 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 2 | 2 | 15 | 26 | 62 | 73 | 85 | 88 | 130 | 83 | 24 | 3 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Chihuahua Puppy
Your week with a Chihuahua Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Chihuahua Puppy comes home.
