Buy Afghan Hound Puppy in KR Puram, Karnataka

We place across KR Puram and the wider Karnataka region. If a large dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Afghan Hound Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a large Afghan Hound Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.

Feeding a large dog without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Afghan Hound Puppy will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Afghan Hound Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Afghan Hound Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a KR Puram flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a large dog notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Afghan Hound Puppy will barely register the change.

What you will pay

Expect ₹78,285 upward, to around ₹78,285. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 12–14 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
