What is listed for Kittur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Beagle you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a medium dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Beagle are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a medium dog notices both. the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Beagle will barely register the change.

Feeding a medium dog without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A medium breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Beagle is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.

Is a Beagle a sensible choice for you in Kittur?

Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Beagle placements in Kittur than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Beagle.

Beagle price, and the cost after it

₹22,366 to ₹22,366 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Beagle without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
