Feeding a small dog without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Pug Puppy will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Pug Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Pug Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.

Is a Pug Puppy a sensible choice for you in Kaval Hosahalli?

Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Pug Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Kaval Hosahalli without much drama.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small dog notices both. comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Pug Puppy will barely register the change.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
