Buy Shih Tzu in Hunasagi, Karnataka

What is listed for Hunasagi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Shih Tzu you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Feeding a small dog without guesswork

Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.

Settling in with children and other pets

Teach the children the rules before the Shih Tzu arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Shih Tzu names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Hunasagi?

You are choosing a 10-16 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small dog in a Hunasagi apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Shih Tzu comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Hunasagi flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Shih Tzu.

What you will pay

Expect ₹23,725 upward, to around ₹23,725. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Health and handover

Every Shih Tzu is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
