Buy Shih Tzu in Gandhinagar, Karnataka

What is listed for Gandhinagar is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Shih Tzu you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Shih Tzu.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Shih Tzu; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Feeding a small dog without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Shih Tzu that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-16 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A playful Shih Tzu that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-16 Years is easier.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

pleasant semi-tropical, and the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A playful Shih Tzu is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-16 Years.

What you will pay

Expect ₹23,725 upward, to around ₹23,725. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Health and handover

Every Shih Tzu is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
