Buy Shih Tzu in Dommasandra, Karnataka

What is listed for Dommasandra is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Shih Tzu you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Health records you should insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Shih Tzu; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Shih Tzu to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.

Feeding a small dog without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Shih Tzu that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-16 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A playful Shih Tzu is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-16 Years.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Shih Tzu are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

The year splits into a dry half and a wet half, and a small dog notices both. the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Adjust walk times in the heat and drying routine in the rain, and the Shih Tzu will barely register the change.

What you will pay

Expect ₹23,725 upward, to around ₹23,725. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
