What is listed for Dandeli is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Pomeranian Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a small Pomeranian Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Pomeranian Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Match the food to the adult size, not the current one. A small breed grows into its requirement over months, and switching brands abruptly will upset it - phase any change over a week. Fresh water, changed twice daily, matters more than the brand you choose.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Pomeranian Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Dandeli flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Pomeranian Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
Is a Pomeranian Puppy a sensible choice for you in Dandeli?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Pomeranian Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Dandeli without much drama.
What you will pay
Expect ₹13,785 upward, to around ₹13,785. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Health and handover
Every Pomeranian Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Pomeranian in Dandeli: local climate
Summer here peaks in April at about 37°C. That is manageable for a Pomeranian, but watch it closely because its double coat holds heat close to the body: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from June to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.
For a new Pomeranian puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 34 | 36 | 37 | 34 | 28 | 26 | 26 | 27 | 28 | 28 | 30 |
| Low °C | 16 | 17 | 19 | 21 | 22 | 22 | 22 | 21 | 21 | 20 | 17 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 1 | 2 | 11 | 24 | 76 | 459 | 506 | 399 | 240 | 128 | 28 | 3 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Pomeranian Puppy
Your week with a Pomeranian Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Pomeranian Puppy comes home.
