Buy Boxer Puppy in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka
We place across Dakshina Kannada and the wider Karnataka region. If a large dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Boxer Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.
Is a Boxer Puppy a sensible choice for you in Dakshina Kannada?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Boxer Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Dakshina Kannada without much drama.
What a Boxer Puppy costs in Dakshina Kannada
Expect ₹26,995 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Feeding a large dog without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Boxer Puppy will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Boxer Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Dakshina Kannada flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Settling in with children and other pets
Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A family friendly Boxer Puppy is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-12 Years.
Boxer Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹26,995 to ₹26,995 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Boxer Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Health and handover
Every Boxer Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Boxer in Dakshina Kannada: local climate
Summer here peaks in March at about 34°C. That is manageable for a Boxer, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 21°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from May to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 32 | 34 | 33 | 31 | 28 | 27 | 27 | 27 | 28 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 21 | 23 | 24 | 26 | 26 | 25 | 24 | 24 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 22 |
| Rain mm | 2 | 4 | 18 | 48 | 178 | 895 | 954 | 749 | 404 | 244 | 83 | 13 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Boxer Puppy
A practical checklist for a large dog in a Dakshina Kannada flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
