What is listed for Chickpet is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Afghan Hound Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Is a Afghan Hound Puppy a sensible choice for you in Chickpet?

You are choosing a 12–14 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A large dog in a Chickpet apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new large dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

Feeding a large dog without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Afghan Hound Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 12–14 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Balconies need grilles before a Afghan Hound Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Chickpet flat with people in it beats a large empty house.

Health records you should insist on

Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a large dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.

What a Afghan Hound Puppy costs in Chickpet

Between ₹78,285 and ₹78,285 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Afghan Hound Puppy costs more up front and less in the first months.

What you will pay

Expect ₹78,285 upward, to around ₹78,285. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 12–14 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
