We place across Belathur and the wider Karnataka region. If a medium dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

What a Beagle costs in Belathur

Between ₹22,366 and ₹22,366 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Beagle costs more up front and less in the first months.

Feeding a medium dog without guesswork

Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Beagle that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Beagle.

Is a Beagle a sensible choice for you in Belathur?

You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium dog in a Belathur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

Health records you should insist on

Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Beagle names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.

Settling in with children and other pets

Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new medium dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.

What you will pay

Expect ₹22,366 upward, to around ₹22,366. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
