Buy Shih Tzu in Basavanapura, Karnataka

We place across Basavanapura and the wider Karnataka region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Shih Tzu.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A playful Shih Tzu is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-16 Years.

Weather, coat and the Karnataka year

mild tropical plateau, and comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.

Feeding a small dog without guesswork

Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Shih Tzu will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.

What a Shih Tzu costs in Basavanapura

Between ₹24,271 and ₹24,271 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Shih Tzu costs more up front and less in the first months.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Shih Tzu are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.

Shih Tzu price, and the cost after it

₹24,271 to ₹24,271 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Shih Tzu without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.

Records to insist on

Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
