What is listed for Thottambedu is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Chihuahua Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Chihuahua Puppy.
What a Chihuahua Puppy costs in Thottambedu
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Chihuahua Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Feeding a tiny dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Chihuahua Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Chihuahua Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Thottambedu flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Chihuahua Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
coastal tropical, and the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important Your practical takeaway: brush more often than the breed guides suggest, keep the dog dry through the wet months, and check between the pads after walks. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
Chihuahua Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹27,994 to ₹27,994 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Chihuahua Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Chihuahua in Thottambedu: local climate
Summer here peaks in May at about 37°C. That is manageable for a Chihuahua: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 21°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from October to November, and November is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Chihuahua puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, March, June, July, August and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 28 | 30 | 34 | 36 | 37 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 28 | 27 |
| Low °C | 21 | 21 | 23 | 26 | 28 | 27 | 26 | 26 | 26 | 25 | 24 | 22 |
| Rain mm | 13 | 4 | 10 | 18 | 43 | 59 | 97 | 117 | 121 | 253 | 257 | 93 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Chihuahua Puppy
A practical checklist for a tiny dog in a Thottambedu flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
