What is listed for Thondur is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Chihuahua Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Set the routine before you set the affection. Fixed meal times, a fixed sleeping spot, and a fixed person doing the feeding for the first fortnight. A Chihuahua Puppy reads consistency as safety, and a settled dog learns faster.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Chihuahua Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Thondur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
What a Chihuahua Puppy costs in Thondur
Expect ₹27,994 upward. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the paperwork you were told to insist on. Budget separately for the first year's vet work.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new tiny dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Is a Chihuahua Puppy a sensible choice for you in Thondur?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Chihuahua Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Thondur without much drama.
Health records you should insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note. You should be able to read them before you pay. We provide all three with every Chihuahua Puppy; if any seller cannot, treat that as the answer.
What you will pay
Expect ₹27,994 upward, to around ₹27,994. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Health and handover
Every Chihuahua Puppy is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a tiny dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Chihuahua in Thondur: local climate
Summer here peaks in May at about 36°C. That is manageable for a Chihuahua: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 20°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.
The rainy season runs from October to November, and November is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Chihuahua puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, March, June, July and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 27 | 30 | 34 | 36 | 36 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 30 | 28 | 27 |
| Low °C | 20 | 21 | 23 | 26 | 27 | 27 | 26 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 23 | 21 |

Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.
