Buy Border Collie Puppy in Putlur, Andhra Pradesh
We place across Putlur and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a medium dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Border Collie Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Health records you should insist on
Insist on originals, not photographs. A genuine record for a Border Collie Puppy names the vet and carries dates you can verify. It is a two-minute check that separates a documented dog from an undocumented one.
Feeding a medium dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Border Collie Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Border Collie Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Putlur flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Is a Border Collie Puppy a sensible choice for you in Putlur?
You are choosing a 10-12 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A medium dog in a Putlur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.
Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year
the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important For a Border Collie Puppy that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
What you will pay
Expect ₹200,267 upward, to around ₹200,267. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-12 Years.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Border Collie in Putlur: local climate
Putlur is hottest in April, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Border Collie needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Border Collie puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to January: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 35 | 39 | 41 | 40 | 34 | 33 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 27 | 24 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 21 | 19 | 16 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 2 | 12 | 24 | 63 | 81 | 90 | 96 | 147 | 100 | 36 | 8 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Border Collie Puppy
Your week with a Border Collie Puppy, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Border Collie Puppy comes home.
