Buy Shih Tzu in Parigi, Andhra Pradesh
What is listed for Parigi is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Shih Tzu you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A playful Shih Tzu that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-16 Years is easier.
Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Parigi?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a playful Shih Tzu will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Parigi without much drama.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a small Shih Tzu to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Shih Tzu arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Portion by weight and adjust monthly. The Shih Tzu will tell you it is starving regardless; your vet's target weight is the honest signal. Overfeeding in the first year is the single most common thing we correct.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
What you will pay
Expect ₹24,271 upward, to around ₹24,271. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.
Health and handover
Every Shih Tzu is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Raising a Shih Tzu in Parigi: local climate
Summer here peaks in April at about 38°C. That is manageable for a Shih Tzu, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and its double coat holds heat close to the body: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Shih Tzu puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, June, July, August, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 30 | 34 | 37 | 38 | 35 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 29 | 29 | 28 | 28 |
| Low °C | 15 | 17 | 21 | 24 | 23 | 21 | 21 | 20 | 20 | 19 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 3 | 4 | 14 | 37 | 81 | 72 | 85 | 92 | 140 | 120 | 53 | 11 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Shih Tzu | Tri Color Puppy
Your week with a Shih Tzu, reduced to what actually matters.
- Grooming: ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat. You find the tick while it is still nothing.
- Damp: dry the dog properly in the wet months. Skin trouble here starts damp and gets ignored.
- Floors: runners over polished granite before it arrives, not after the first slip.
- Food: portion by weight, adjust monthly, no table scraps from day one.
- Balcony: grilles up before the Shih Tzu comes home.
