We place across Muddanur and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a small dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.

Settling in with children and other pets

Introduce slowly and supervise every early meeting. A playful Shih Tzu is usually good with children, but 'usually' is doing work in that sentence - the first fortnight sets the pattern for 10-16 Years.

Apartment living: what actually matters

Your neighbours matter more than your floor plan. A playful Shih Tzu that greets the corridor politely buys you goodwill you will need later. Spend the first month on that and the rest of 10-16 Years is easier.

Weather, coat and the Andhra Pradesh year

the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention For a Shih Tzu that means grooming is not cosmetic - it is how you catch problems early. Ten minutes twice a week, hands through the coat, and you will find the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.

Your first fortnight, step by step

Do not introduce a small Shih Tzu to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.

Is a Shih Tzu a sensible choice for you in Muddanur?

You are choosing a 10-16 Years commitment, so be unsentimental for a minute. A small dog in a Muddanur apartment works when the building allows pets, the lift is reliable, and someone can break up the day. Two out of three is usually not enough.

What a Shih Tzu costs in Muddanur

Between ₹24,271 and ₹24,271 covers most placements here. Where yours falls depends on lineage and how old the dog is at handover - an older, fully vaccinated Shih Tzu costs more up front and less in the first months.

What you will pay

Expect ₹24,271 upward, to around ₹24,271. Price tracks documentation and age, so the cheapest listing is usually the one missing the records you should insist on. Budget separately for the first year — food, boosters and one unplanned vet visit will each outweigh the purchase over 10-16 Years.

Health and handover

Every Shih Tzu is checked, vaccinated and dewormed before listing. Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year: booster schedules run from the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
