We place across Kondapuram and the wider Andhra Pradesh region. If a medium dog does not suit your hours, we will say so — that conversation is free and saves everyone the harder one later.
Settling in with children and other pets
Teach the children the rules before the Border Collie Puppy arrives: no disturbing it while eating, no picking it up, and let it come to them. Children who learn that get a dog that seeks them out.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Do not introduce a medium Border Collie Puppy to the whole building in week one. Let it learn your flat first. Everything else - lift, lobby, other residents - goes better when the dog already has one place it considers its own.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Balconies need grilles before a Border Collie Puppy comes home, not after. Beyond that, apartment life suits this breed well: it wants company more than square footage, and a Kondapuram flat with people in it beats a large empty house.
Feeding a medium dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Border Collie Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
What a Border Collie Puppy costs in Kondapuram
The purchase is the small number. Over 10-12 Years, food, boosters, grooming and one unplanned vet visit a year will each outweigh it. Anyone selling you a Border Collie Puppy without mentioning that is selling, not advising.
Is a Border Collie Puppy a sensible choice for you in Kondapuram?
Ask yourself who walks it at seven in the morning. That one question decides more Border Collie Puppy placements in Kondapuram than price does. If the answer is genuinely nobody, look at a lower-energy breed instead - we will help you do that.
Border Collie Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹200,267 to ₹200,267 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Border Collie Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Border Collie in Kondapuram: local climate
Kondapuram is hottest in April, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Border Collie needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.
There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in September.
For a new Border Collie puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 32 | 36 | 39 | 41 | 40 | 34 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 30 |
| Low °C | 16 | 18 | 22 | 26 | 27 | 25 | 24 | 23 | 23 | 22 | 19 | 17 |
| Rain mm | 4 | 2 | 12 | 24 | 63 | 81 | 90 | 96 | 147 | 100 | 36 | 8 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Border Collie Puppy
A practical checklist for a medium dog in a Kondapuram flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
