What is listed for Dhone is what we can place. Ask us before you decide: we would rather steer you to a different dog that fits your schedule than sell you the Pug Puppy you asked for and hear about it in six months.
Your first fortnight, step by step
Week one: keep the dog to two rooms, same feeding times daily, no visitors. Week two: widen the space, start short outdoor trips once the vaccination schedule allows. Rushing either half is the most common mistake we see with a new Pug Puppy.
Settling in with children and other pets
Give the resident pet the higher ground and the first choice of space. A new small dog entering an established household is the intruder, and letting the existing animal keep its status shortens the adjustment considerably.
Is a Pug Puppy a sensible choice for you in Dhone?
Start with your week, not the breed. If you are out of the flat eleven hours a day, a family friendly Pug Puppy will not fill the gap quietly - it will find something to do and you will not like it. If someone is home, this breed settles into Dhone without much drama.
Feeding a small dog without guesswork
Skip the table scraps entirely, however hard the dog lobbies. A Pug Puppy that learns the dining table is a food source will keep asking for 10-12 Years. Set that boundary in week one and you never have to revisit it.
Apartment living: what actually matters
Check three things before you commit: whether your association permits a small dog, whether the service lift is usable, and what your floor is made of. Polished granite and a young Pug Puppy are a bad pairing - put runners down before it arrives, not after the first slip.
Health records you should insist on
Keep the paperwork somewhere you will find it in a year. Booster schedules run on the original dates, and a small dog moving to a new vet needs that history intact.
Pug Puppy price, and the cost after it
₹18,715 to ₹18,715 for the dog. Then plan a similar amount again for year one. Anyone selling you a Pug Puppy without mentioning that second number is selling rather than advising.
Records to insist on
Ask for the vaccination card, the deworming dates and the pre-handover vet note, and read them before you pay. We provide all three. Insist on originals — a genuine record names the vet and carries dates you can verify.
Raising a Pug in Dhone: local climate
Dhone is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Pug needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 15°C, so cold is not a concern.
Most of the year's rain falls in September. Check for ticks after every walk.
For a new Pug puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, July, August, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
| Month | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High °C | 31 | 34 | 38 | 40 | 39 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 29 | 29 |
| Low °C | 15 | 17 | 21 | 24 | 26 | 23 | 22 | 22 | 22 | 20 | 17 | 15 |
| Rain mm | 5 | 2 | 13 | 24 | 59 | 96 | 110 | 115 | 157 | 97 | 26 | 5 |
Climate figures: NASA POWER long-term monthly averages for a roughly 50 km area around the city, so rain near hills or the coast can read higher than in the city itself.

Care Tips for Pug Puppy | Apricot Color
A practical checklist for a small dog in a Dhone flat.
- Routine: fixed meals, fixed sleeping spot, one person feeding for the first fortnight.
- Paws: check between the pads after every walk.
- Company: a family friendly breed does badly with eleven empty hours. Arrange a break in the day.
- Neighbours: corridor manners in month one buy goodwill you will need later.
- Vet: registered before you need one, not during an emergency.
